BEAVERS FORCED TO SETTLE FOR A POINT

A late equaliser dealt the Beavers a tough blow as they were forced to settle for a point at home to Farnborough.
Jake Gray gave Hampton & Richmond the lead ten minutes into the second half, which looked to be enough until Hady Ghandour tapped home at the death to make it 1-1.
The TW12 side started the day the brightest, crafting some well worked crosses into the box, with Isaac Pitblado and Ruaridh Donaldson combining well down the left. Ten minutes into the game, a penalty was given to Farnborough after Dean Inman was judged to have brought down Norville-Williams in the penalty area. Aaron Kuhl fired his penalty at goal, but Desbois held his ground and made a great save to keep the game goalless.
The rest of the first half consisted of half-chances, until a huge opportunity came for the Beavers when Ben Seymour played the ball across the box for Fadahunsi, but he failed to hit the target.
The first chance of the second half was a Farnborough one, as Jordan Norville-Williams powered his way through, but his poked effort went wide.
Ruaridh Donaldson threaded a great pass through to Seymour, but the striker could not hit the target. Moments later, Jake Gray fired a low shot from the edge of the box, which went past Jack Turner and into the net to get his fourth goal of the season.
Late on into additional time, a shot from range which was saved by Desbois fell to Hady Ghandour to snatch a point.
The game ended with both sides taking a point. This result means that Hampton & Richmond stay in seventh, while Farnborough stay in fourteenth.
Hampton & Richmond will hope to get the three points when they host Havant & Waterlooville at the Beveree on Tuesday. Farnborough will hope to make it five league games unbeaten when they play against Chelmsford at home. Adult tickets are available for just £12. Click HERE FOR TICKETS.
