Born in Westminster, of Jamaican heritage, Bloomfield arrived at Hampton in summer 2023 after spending the previous campaign on loan at Farnborough from Bromley. After starting his career with Dagenham & Redbridge, the physical striker signed for Norwich City in 2018. A loan to Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premiership followed, before Crawley Town in EFL League Two. Bloomfield then moved to Hartlepool, Barnet and eventually Bromley, where he won the 2022 FA Trophy.
