Born in Lambeth, Joshua Anifowose joins up with the Beavers having played the first half of the season at fellow NLS side Dover Athletic. Josh started his career in the Fulham academy, before moving to Oxford United at the age of 17, making his first team debut in the EFL Trophy against Cambridge United. After a loan spell at Isthmian South Central club Tooting & Mitcham, the 19-year old left the U's in 2022. After joining Dover, Josh quickly became a fan favourite as a tenacious central midfielder with an eye for a forward pass. With a strong start to NLS life, Josh is looking to push on under Mel Gwinnett.
