Derby County winger Alex arrived at the Bev in February 2024 on loan until the end of the season. Hailing from King's Cross the young winger started his youth career locally with Tottenham, before moving to Nottingham Forest. After four years at the City Ground, Gibson-Hammond moved to Derby in 2023. Whilst with Forest, he made the bench for the Carabao Cup semi final against Manchester United, and recorded 40 U21 appearances, alongside six goals and six assists. This is Alex's second loan of the season, having spent time with Buxton in the National League North earlier in the campaign.
