DOVER LOOKING TO HALT BEAVERS RISE

Hampton & Richmond will be looking to continue their fine run in the points as they travel to Crabble Stadium to face 23rd place Dover Athletic.

'The Whites' come into this fixture off the back of a 4-0 away defeat to Farnborough, having drawn their last four games on the bounce, despite scoring nine goals in that time. Back on home terms, Mitch Brundle will be hoping the crowd can spur on a reaction from his squad to progress up the table. Thus far, their only win in the league this season came against fellow strugglers Slough Town.

Meanwhile, the Beavers, for the first time this season, occupy a playoff position after a recent transformation of results. Currently, across England's top six divisions, only Championship side Leicester, League Two Stockport County and fellow National League South outfit Yeovil can equal the Beavers form in the last five league games. This period includes tough wins against Torquay United, Worthing, Taunton and Dartford.

Ben Seymour will be hoping to continue his goal involvement, after moving to seven goals and three assists for the season with that win against Torquay last weekend.

Historically, The Whites and The Beavers have faced off on a total of eight occasions, the earliest of which, occurring under Alan Devonshire in 2009. In front of just over 1100 spectators, it was Dover who triumphed at home in a 4-2 thriller. The hosts have won half of all our fixtures, whilst Hampton & Richmond have three wins and a draw.

Most recently, It was a Jake Gray double and a late strike from David Fisher that continued Mel Gwinnetts' charge to survival at the back end of last season, as he oversaw a 0-3 win away from home in front of 605 fans.
