Former colleagues go toe to toe in a huge National League South clash as Hampton & Richmond host Chelmsford City.

Mel Gwinnett, a year into his first job in first team football management, will face former protégè Robbie Simpson in the dug-out for what will be considered by both sets of supporters as a great gage for the rest of either teams season.

The clarets come to Beveree boasting one of the best away records in the division, whilst the Beavers have only lost once at home all season. In-fact, Robbie Simpson's men arrive having won their last five NLS games on the trot, including two big wins over Essex rivals Braintree.

Further south, Hamrich haven't played since knocking out Hartlepool in the FA Trophy on penalties, two weeks ago. Fans will be hoping for the players to go again after their seventeen game unbeaten run came to an end at Braintree in early January. For this reason, Mel is very much looking forward to the game this Saturday afternoon, "It's going to be a great game between two great sides. I'm expecting it to be very competitive and very tight, but ultimately an entertaining game."

Last time out, it was a lightning fast reaction from the Beavers to equalise almost immediately after going behind in the second game of the season. Ruaridh Donaldson opened his account by converting at the back post after Shane Dunn delivered into the box.
