Hampton & Richmond face another improving National League South side at the Bev this evening as Essex based Braintree make the trip round the M25.

Three wins in in their last five against St Albans, Welling and Dartford has seen Angelo Harrop's side move to within striking distance of the play-offs. A result in TW12 could result in Braintree moving up as high as sixth if results elsewhere went their way. Prolific marksman Aaron Blair has scored three goals in this period, helping the Irons push up the table.

The Beavers remain in second, with Aveley dropping points to 10-men Welling United at home. Four wins from five, and nine from ten, have seen an incredible transformation for Hampton & Richmond, who now find themselves able to move within two points of league leaders Yeovil with a positive result.

The two sides are very familiar with each other, having faced off 30 times. Braintree will arrive in positive spirits, having won 17 of these fixtures, including a play-off final in 2018, and losing only eight.
