Hampton & Richmond FC is delighted to announce the appointment of Rod Cain as Chief Technology Officer.

Rod has delivered innovation and digital ways of working at leading UK companies including Tesco Bank, Arcadia Group and Homeserve, and is joining the Beavers to focus on developing and modernising the club’s technological infrastructure on and off the pitch.  

Within this role, Rod will be responsible for developing and deploying new technology helping to continue the professionalisation of the Club as an organisaiton and ensure relevance for generations to come. At every level of professional football technology and data play a pivotal role in delivering a competitive advantage on the pitch and delivering a connection to fans in the stands and the community.

Rod will provide technological support to the Beavers whilst also helping the club connect with strategic partners to become a technological sandbox and innovation hub. Rod will also work with the academy to introduce our young students to the world of technology and digital skills.

Rod brings experience across multiple industries and in addition to helping us put technology at the center of everything we do on and off the pitch, he will join the rest of the Beavers leadership in becoming a resource and teacher to our young academy students as we seek to deliver on our promise to provide all the young people in our system with improved chances on and off the pitch.’
